Settled and pre-settled status for EU citizens and their families

If you're an EU citizen, you and your family members will be in a position to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to carry on living in the United kingdom following 30 June 2021. If your application is profitable, you'll get both settled or pre-settled status.
You could be ready to remain in the Uk with no applying - for illustration, if you're an Irish citizen or have indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
Rights for citizens of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland are even now becoming negotiated.
When you can apply
The EU Settlement Scheme will open completely by 30 March 2019. The deadline for applying will be 30 June 2021.

Fees
- The fee to apply will be:
- 65 if you're sixteen or more than
- 32.50 if you're below sixteen
- It'll be totally free to apply if:
- you have indefinite depart to continue to be in or enter the United kingdom and want to transform this to settled standing
- you have a valid Uk long lasting residence document'
- you're applying from April 2019 to move from pre-settled standing to settled standing
- you're a little one in nearby authority care
